The Literacy Council of Western Arkansas enables adult learners to acquire or improve basic skills in reading, writing, math, digital literacy, financial literacy, and English language, as well as prepare for US Citizenship. Adult learners attain their personal literacy goals and increase their self-confidence so that they become active, self-motivated, and independent citizens.

Meetings
The Fort Smith Downtown Business Association (FSDBA) meets most months on the third Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Meetings are held in the Cooler Room at The Bakery. Visitors welcome!
