Majestic Fort Smith - Originally a park next to Bill Neumeier's first restaurant, Coney Island, 817 Garrison Avenue began its legacy as a beer garden in the Summer of 1994. Local musicians performed in the Beer Garden the first couple of seasons, under a couple of clamp-lights with colored bulbs hanging from one of the oak trees! In the summer of 1995, the Beer Garden promoted its first national touring act on a make-shift stage. Over the years, the location continued to enhance the stage and beer garden and became known as the legendary Neumeier's Rib Room & Beer Garden. In 2008, Neumeier's Rib Room moved to 424 Garrison Avenue and the site became a live music venue. The unique juke joint introduced Fort Smith to countless impressive artists, such as Monte Montgomery, Paul Thorn, Theresa Anderson.

Our Story

May 2019 began a new era for the legendary 817 Garrison Avenue property. Fort Smith residents Trent Goins and Steve Clark, along with Sarah Sparks-Diebold, united to expand entertainment on historic Garrison Avenue and continue the resurgence of downtown Fort Smith. The unique group shares a passion for downtown revitalization and cultural arts while bringing different strengths to the project. The property underwent a noteworthy renovation, starting with increasing the size of the stage and opening the mezzanine area providing a gathering place atmosphere for live music entertainment and private, corporate charitable events.

IS THERE SEATING AVAILABLE?

All tickets are general admission, standing-room only unless a show is advertised as having reserved seating. Reserved seating is handled on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be secured by sending us an email to [email protected]. Depending on the type of show and ticket sales there may also be occasions where seating is available without reservation. These are also on a first-come, first-serve basis.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?

Yes, we will have food available before and during the show! Kitchen is open until 10:00 pm.
