Join us for an artist lecture with Amy Scoggins! Amy Scoggins is an Arkansas artist whose work ranges from the formal paintings of historic architecture to the conceptual interpretations of motherhood and medical advocacy. Scoggins earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Missouri State and Masters of Secondary Education from Drury University.
This lecture will take a deep dive into her current exhibition, RECLAIMED, a body of work that focuses on the meditative practice of painting and capturing the historic, yet dilapidated Eva Gotlib building in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
